  • Introduction
  • Grimston house is a large1930s house. We let four rooms. We aim to cater for all the needs of our visitors. The following statement is a summary of our provision Please to not hesitate to contact us with any queries
  • Pre-Arrival
  • There is a bus stop into town 200yds fron the house. We do not have a local taxi service in the village but all taxis will come from town to Deighton

  • Arrival & Car Parking Facilities
  • We are a large double fronted house with entrance and exit gates. The drive is tarmac with lots of parking space. The gates are always open
  • Main Entrance & Reception
  • There are three steps leading up to the front doors, two shallow 2" high and one 6" the entrance area is carpeted
  • Public Areas - General (Internal)
  • There is one downstairs bedroom door width 27" all our rooms are shower en-suite .no rails
  • Public Areas - WC
  • There is a downstairs lounge and spacious dinning room , door width 27" all areas are carpeted.
  • Restaurant / Dining Room, Bar & Lounges, Take Away & Cafe
  • We do not have a resturant but the local village pub . The White Swan is only two minutes walk away and serves a very good meal There is a Fish and Chip shop in the layby again two minutes walk.

  • We are prepared to do laundry if necessary by prior arrangement

  • The local garage 1/2 a mile away in Escrick is also a mini market with a cash dispenser

  • We have large garden areas to the front and rear with a pond in the rear
    The garden is also used by our friendly Labradors

  • The grounds are mostly lawned areas and flower beds with shrubs The entrance is through the gate with a gravel drive
